I Saw a Good Movie This Weekend

After riding fun and sometimes hilariously over the "Transporter 2" Jason Statham is back as Frank Martin, aka, The Transporter in "Transporter 3." And if you liked the previous films, I can guarantee you will love travel chaos.
This time, Martin was abducted and forced into his new job by Robert Knepper character, the villain known only as "Johnson." Johnson hit a chemical bomb on bracelet Martin explode if he strayed from his car more than 75 feet of an insurance policy to ensure that it fulfills its task, the transport of a sexy young woman named Valentina (Natalya Rudakov) and two sacks mysterious throughout parts of Europe, for unknown reasons. There is a conspiracy involving Valentina be removed, and are used by Johnson to blackmail his father powerful, but it is not very important to the overall story, it is only there to justify the action.
And the action is something this film does not skimp on. Although not as show-offish than the previous film, which has action in every-other-directed, this entry in the series certainly has its share of fist fighting and racing cars, explosions and weapons fire battles. Director Olivier megaton (no, I do not like this place), took over from Louis Leterrier (co-director of the previous two entries) and does a good job in maintaining the mood set by previous films, and it does very well with the action. Although I would say the camera work is sometimes under-par, and sometimes a little too "Jason Bourne uncertain." But overall, if I did not say any different, I suppose Leterrier was still in the stage, which is a good thing, because a series like this should generally feel consistent.
The story itself (written by "carrier" and "Transporter 2" scribes Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen) is halfway decent for a fool, PG-13-Fest action, and ends up being much better than Most will give him credit for. I have already seen the movie reviews are bad, but we all know that it is not the type of people to listen too. If someone accuses the third film in a stupid as this franchise "suck" and then complains about the plot or the characters, then that person, it takes too seriously. This film is not serious, it is a "brain drain" movie … where you leave your brain off and you empty your IQ for the 100 minute running length while allowing you to be happy before leaving the theater and turning ole ‘back on Noggin.
It is a "dumb fun" at its best.
Also returning Inspector Tarconi François Berléand is now much more screen time that the comic and the guy who comes to collect history for the public. It does wonderful as always.
Much of the movie to the love story between Martin and Valentina, and that is where the film May be Hit-or-miss for fans. Essentially, Valentina is the "Anti-Frank Martin" – it is fun-loving, spunky and very open to all. Frank concludes his annoying at first, but you can almost say that his lifestyle in relation to its own strict, which is now beginning to realize it was held back. You can tell they are a good match for each other because they have each other. Rudakov and done a good job with the role, although in May the public will think it a bit too far in some scenes, where his antics go wild. Yet, she adds much to the intrigue, and keeps the story fresh-after all, we can deduce that Frank was never able to maintain its relationship with Lai, or "go anywhere" Ms. Billings of the previous films. And hey, Rudakov made me fall in love with her (and her character) so thats takes for something.
A final comment on Jason Statham, star of the film, before I pack it. I really think this series has proved he has what it takes to make a big-time star. He had to show emotions through a character who likes to ignore or neglect, and it has proven himself physically. It is also a decent player. I think this series, especially Statham, do not receive the attention they deserve.
All in all, I liked "Transporter 3", it was a great journey filled with good action, cool characters and an idiot, but decent, cliché-ridden history. And good shots are clichés, but they work! I give him as a fan, an 8 out of 10.
